That ONE Stubborn Spot!

You've done the work. You eat well, you stay active, and your body looks the way you want it to. Except for one area. Maybe it's under your chin. Maybe it's along your jawline. It doesn't matter what you do or how lean you get. That pocket of fat stays exactly where it is, and it's the first thing you notice in every photo. Here's what most people don't realize: some fat deposits are resistant to diet and exercise by design. Your body stores fat in certain areas based on genetics, and no amount of effort will change that pattern. That's not a willpower problem. That's biology. Fat dissolving injections give you a way to address those specific areas without surgery, without general anesthesia, and without weeks of recovery.

What PCDC Lipo Dissolve Actually Does

PCDC (Phosphatidylcholine Deoxycholic Acid) is an injectable solution that breaks down fat cells in the targeted area. I mark the treatment area and administer a series of small injections directly into the fat deposit. The PCDC solution disrupts the fat cell membranes, and your lymphatic system clears the destroyed cells over the following weeks.

The key detail: destroyed fat cells do not regenerate. Once they're gone, they're gone. That makes this a permanent reduction in the treated area, not a temporary fix.

Each session takes 15 to 30 minutes. Most clients need 2 to 4 sessions, spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart, to reach their goal. I assess your progress at each visit and adjust the plan based on how your body responds.

This is not a weight loss treatment. It's a contouring tool for small, defined fat deposits that don't respond to diet and exercise. If you're looking for large-scale fat reduction, this isn't the right approach.

Are Fat Dissolving Injections Right For You?

This works best for small, specific areas where fat just won't budge no matter what you do.

The most common one I treat is the double chin. You're in decent shape everywhere else, but that fullness under your chin ages your profile and makes your jawline disappear in photos. You've tried the exercises. You've tried contouring. Neither one solved it because they can't. It's a fat deposit, not a muscle or a shadow.

Lipo Dissolve also makes sense if you have a small, stubborn pocket somewhere else that diet and exercise haven't touched in years. It's targeted and gradual. No surgery, no general anesthesia, no long recovery.

If you're looking at liposuction and thinking "that feels like too much for what I actually need," this is the in-between option worth knowing about.

Areas We Can Treat

Jowls

Softening the fullness along the jawline creates a more defined lower face. This area responds well to Lipo Dissolve when the issue is fat, not skin laxity. I assess which one is driving the problem before recommending treatment.

Submental Fat (Double Chin)

This is the most common area I treat with Lipo Dissolve, and it's the one where clients see the most dramatic difference. A cleaner chin-to-neck transition changes your entire profile. Clients who combine this with jawline filler often get a result that looks like they lost fifteen pounds, even though the change is measured in millimetres.

Small Fat Pockets

Other small, defined deposits are assessed case by case. Lipo Dissolve works best on discrete pockets with good skin elasticity. If the area is too large or the skin won't retract well, I'll recommend a different approach.

PCDC vs. Kybella: What's the Difference?

If you've been researching fat dissolving injections, you've probably seen the name Kybella. Both PCDC and Kybella are injectable fat dissolvers that use similar mechanisms to destroy fat cells. Kybella is the more well-known brand name, but it's not the only option.

I'll walk you through the specific product I use and why during your consultation. The mechanism is what matters, and the results are comparable. What actually makes the difference is accurate injection depth, proper candidate selection, and understanding the tissue layers underneath the fat.

What to Expect From Lipo Dissolve

Here's what the recovery actually looks like.

During treatment. You'll feel a series of small injections and a burning or stinging sensation as the product goes in. It's uncomfortable but manageable, and it's over in 15 to 30 minutes.

Days 1 through 7. Significant swelling. This is not subtle. Your chin or treated area will look noticeably swollen for 3 to 7 days. This is expected and it's actually a sign the product is working. Plan your schedule accordingly.

Weeks 1 through 2. Tenderness and firmness in the treated area. It will feel hard or lumpy under the skin. This is normal and resolves on its own.

Weeks 4 through 6. This is when you start to see the reduction. The swelling is long gone, the firmness has softened, and the fat cells your body has been clearing are visibly absent. The contour starts to emerge.

After your final session. The fat cells are permanently destroyed. They don't come back. However, remaining fat cells in the area can still enlarge with significant weight gain, so maintaining a stable weight protects your result.

Not Everyone Is a Good Candidate

Lipo Dissolve works best on small, defined fat deposits with good overlying skin elasticity. If your concern is excess skin rather than excess fat, dissolving the fat underneath can actually make things look worse.

That's why candidacy matters. During your consultation, I evaluate the tissue layers, the anatomy, and whether the skin will retract well enough to show the result you're picturing. If Lipo Dissolve isn't the right fit, I'll recommend what is.
