You're Not Looking to Turn Back the Clock. You Just Want to Look Like You Again.

Botox®, fillers, microneedling, laser, PRP, peels, skin boosters. Every clinic says their treatment is the best one, and it's hard to know where to start when you're not sure what does what or which one is right for what you're seeing in the mirror.

I'm Cassie, your licensed nurse practitioner, and I help people sort through exactly this.

Whether you’re looking at skin rejuvenation treatments for the first time or comparing options you’ve already researched, my job is to cut through the noise. I look at your face, I listen to what's bothering you, and I tell you what I'd actually recommend. Sometimes that's one treatment. Sometimes it's a combination. Sometimes it's "honestly, you don't need anything right now."

Once you understand what each treatment does and which concerns it's suited for, the decision gets a lot simpler. That's what your consultation is for.

Which Treatment Is Right for Your Concern?

Not every treatment does the same thing. Facial rejuvenation is not one procedure, it’s a category, and the the right choice depends on what's actually bothering you, not what's trending on social media. Here's how I match treatments to concerns.

Fine Lines from Facial Movement (Forehead, Frown Lines, Crow's Feet)

These are the lines that show up when you make expressions and, over time, start staying even when your face is at rest. Botox® or Dysport® relaxes the muscles causing them. Results show within a week, last 3 to 4 months, and the goal is always "rested," never "frozen."

Lost Volume (Cheeks, Jawline, Temples, Under-Eyes)

When your face starts looking hollow or deflated, that's volume loss, not something Botox® can address. Dermal fillers restore structure where it's gone. I assess where the loss is actually happening, because the area that bothers you and the area that needs treating aren't always the same place.

Skin Texture, Pores, and Acne Scars

If your skin feels rough, your pores look larger than they used to, or you have acne scarring you've never been able to smooth out, microneedling triggers your body's own collagen production from within. It takes a series of sessions, but the results are real and they build over time.

Sun Damage, Dark Spots, and Redness

Years of sun exposure show up as brown spots, broken capillaries, and uneven tone. IPL Photofacial targets pigmentation and redness with light energy. For surface-level discolouration, chemical peels remove damaged outer layers so fresher skin can come through.

Skin Laxity and Deeper Lines

When skin starts to sag or lines run deeper than Botox® alone can handle, resurfacing treatments tighten from the inside out. Opus Plasma laser creates controlled micro-injuries that force your skin to rebuild tighter and firmer. ClearLift laser does similar work with zero downtime.

Dull, Dehydrated Skin

If your skin has lost its glow and no serum seems to help, skin boosters deliver hyaluronic acid below the surface for hydration that comes from within. This isn't a topical fix. It's injectable hydration that changes how your skin looks and feels for months.

Thinning Hair

Hair loss isn't just a cosmetic issue. It affects how you feel every time you look in the mirror. PRP hair restoration uses your own blood's growth factors to stimulate dormant follicles. No surgery, no chemicals, and results that build gradually over several months.

Low Energy, Weight Changes, Mood Shifts

Sometimes the changes you're seeing on the outside are being driven by what's happening on the inside. Hormonal shifts, metabolic slowdowns, and energy crashes all show up on your face and body. Hormone replacement therapy and medical weight loss address the root cause, not just the symptom. I often start here before recommending any aesthetic treatment, because fixing the foundation changes everything.

Why a Licensed Nurse Practitioner at Contour Medical Makes the Difference for Anti-Aging Treatments

Licensed Nurse Practitioner Cassie Cimino prepares her client's skin for a microneedling treament in St. Catharines

I'm not listing treatments at you because I want to sell all of them. I'm showing you the full picture because that's how I think about your face.

As a licensed nurse practitioner, I'm trained to see how everything connects. The lines on your forehead, the volume loss in your cheeks, the skin changes that started when your hormones shifted.

Those aren't separate problems with separate solutions. They're all part of the same story, and I’m licensed to build a plan for you that reflects that.

Every consultation and every treatment is me. Not a rotation. Not a trainee. The same person who assesses your face is the one holding the needle, adjusting the laser, helping you balance your hormones and following up to make sure you're happy with the result.

That matters more than most people realize until they've experienced the alternative: a revolving door of providers and an appointment that's over before you've finished explaining what you want.

Serving clients from St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Welland, and across the Niagara region.

Most People Benefit From More Than One Treament

Now here's something some clinics won't tell you upfront: as we age, very few concerns are solved by a single treatment. The clients who are happiest with their results are usually doing a combination, because different treatments work on different layers of the problem.

Common combinations I recommend:

Botox® + fillers.

Botox® softens the lines caused by movement in the upper face. Fillers restore structure and volume in the lower face. Together, they create a balanced, refreshed look that neither one achieves alone.

Microneedling + chemical peels.

If you're dealing with rough texture and sun damage or uneven tone, these two work from opposite directions. Microneedling rebuilds from beneath the surface. Chemical Peels clear the damaged layers on top. Together, results come faster than with either one solo.

HRT + aesthetics.

If your hormones are off, your skin, energy, and weight are all affected. I see this pattern constantly with women in their mid-40s and 50s. Addressing the hormonal piece first means your aesthetic treatments work better and last longer, because you're not fighting your own biology.

Botox® + lip filler.

Both Botox® and Lip Filler can often be done in the same visit. One appointment, two areas, and you leave looking like yourself on a really good day.

The right combination depends on your specific concerns, your timeline, and your budget. That's exactly what FREE consultations are for.

Ready to Book Your Consultation?

You don't need to have it all figured out before you book. That's what the consultation is for. I'll listen to what's bothering you, assess the areas you’re concerned about and recommend the treatment or combination that makes sense for your specific concerns, situation and budget.

Frequently Asked Questions About Skin Rejuvenation Treatments

  • It depends on the type of lines you're dealing with. Lines caused by facial movement, like forehead creases and crow's feet, respond best to Botox® or Dysport®. Lines caused by volume loss respond to dermal fillers. Lines caused by skin texture and sun damage respond to microneedling, laser resurfacing, or chemical peels. Most people have more than one type, which is why a consultation is the best way to figure out what you actually need.

  • Most clients see meaningful improvement after three to four sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. Deeper concerns like acne scars or significant texture issues may benefit from four to six sessions. After your initial series, occasional maintenance sessions can help preserve results.

  • Start with whatever bothers you most. For most first-time clients, that means either Botox® for forehead lines or filler for lips. Both are low-commitment treatments that let you see what's possible before exploring anything more involved. I always start conservative, and you stay in control of how far you want to go

  • The treatments I offer are all Health Canada approved and have been used for years with strong safety profiles. As a licensed nurse practitioner, I review your full medical history, medications, and any contraindications before recommending anything. If something isn't right for you, I'll tell you. That's the deal.
